Nail Art Marathon - 16. Geometric

Hello, hello!

This week I don't have much to say about my nails except that I'm still wearing the same manicure for over a week and I don't wanna clean my nails anytime soon... I'm in love (?) with my nails!

The week's theme is "geometric" and the idea belongs to Rita. At first the theme seemed boring to me. I thought of doing something minimalist on my nails, like a cube or a pyramid, but after doing some research on Google, I got my tape and sponges out and this is the result:

The pictures don't do my nails justice, I swear! *giggles*
Also, they glow in the dark, but I can't show that in pictures yet (until I get a better camera, actually).

This is how I did my nails:

1. Base coat and two coats of white nail polish. Let them dry.
2. Use nail art tape to create a design you like.
3. Use the gradient technique over the nails ( I added many drops of polish and just dabbed the sponge over my nails, randomly).
4. Remove the tape and add a layer of top coat.

I used so many nail polishes for the geometric design that I can't really remember all of them. I know that I used Boots Glitter Babes Pink Shimmers, Golden Rose Paris 144 and Moyra Bubble Gum (628 Jelly Bean and 624 Sweetie) but I'm sure there were more. On my thumb and pinky I used Ados Texture Effect 01 and I added some cute pink stars. ^_^

I'm happy with the result and, except for some stars that came off, it's still intact! :D

Please don't forget to check out what shapes the other girls chose for their lovely nails, this week:
