Aprils' Nails Challenge - Colorful stripes/Chevron

Hello, nail art lovers!

Today I'm going to show you a  striped manicure that started as a spring-inspired one but ended up very autumnal. :))) I wanted to use a new nail polish I bought from Kinga and these were the colors I thought would look best with it.

I used two techniques for this manicure - the ombre one (classic, with a small piece of sponge) and painting the lines using nail art tape. I wanted the lines to be asymmetrical so I didn't place the pieces of tape at the same distance one form another and I used the colors chaotically, as well.

Sorry for the piece of lint that got in the way. I tried to remove it using a photo editor but it kept crashing. After I did the ombre and the lines, I painted two foxes, one on each of the middle finger's nails using acrylic paint for the shape and outline and nail polish afterwards.

After noticing how autumnal my manicure looked, I used some burgundy nail polish and gold flakies (the ones you've seen in my previous manicure) so that they would look like falling leaves.

The nail polishes I used are:

- Lovely Nude 1
- O.P.I - Warm & Fozie
- Nails inc. Covent Garden
- Avon Lucky Penny
- Essence Metal Glam - gold topper 01 Stealing the scene

I hope you like my manicure and you won't consider it too far off since it's supposed to be inspired by spring (I think). For brighter colors and different patterns, check out what the girls did:
