Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter V for... vortex!

The letter "V" was one of the few letters that did not make me ask every person I knew about words that start with it and for inspiration afterwards. I had talked to my boyfriend (just for fun) about the option of him doing my nails and he said he would probably manage to do spirals (he doubts his artistic talent), so I instantly thought about the word "Vortex". 

I used that idea to create these nails:

I painted all my nails dark blue and did some spirals using white acrylic paint. I dabbed some colored paint over them afterwards and added some glitter to create a real vortex look. (as real as I could without actually creating a vortex lol)

I can't say that I'm particularly proud of my design ( I did it in a hurry) but there is something about the "blue vortex" that I really like. I should use that glitter more often. :P

 And now I want to show you Jake's version of "vortex nails"* - I think he did a great job, being his first time (hihihi), don't you? :D

*please note that there are two types of spirals. Cool, huh? :P
