Saturday's Theme - Owls

Hello, nail art lovers!

This week the blogosphere was invaded by some of the loveliest birds that exist - owls. They came in all shapes and sizes, from wise ones to silly ones but all equally adorable.

I decided to combine the theme with another topic that I like a lot, the fascinating world of Harry Potter. I chose to represent Hedwig on my nails, along with the Gryffindor colors an the scar that made Harry famous.

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter H for.. Harry Potter! (Hogwarts & Hedwig)

Ever since the first book appeared in Romania, I became obsessed with "Harry Potter". I love the idea of wizards, a school of wizardry and pet owls, almost as much as I love vampires! :">

This time, my idea came from a Facebook Harry Potter fan page that promoted Hogwarts quite a lot lately. ^_^ I looked on deviantART for inspiration and I found the perfect drawing of the school, which you can see here. Since I rarely wear the same design on both hand, I used another "symbol" from the book, that begins with the letter "H" - Hedwig, Harry's owl! :D

Autumnal Nails

I've been wanting to do an autumnal manicure for a looooong, long time and now I found the perfect one so I had to paint my nails this way ( well, nobody forced me but yes, I had to ^_^).

I found the design on a nail art site but couldn't find the creator so if you know who it is, please leave a comment and I will edit the post. Thank you! :D

Oh, and I also found a very cute watch with a cuuuute owl on it, that looked great with my manicure so... take a look! :D
