Birthday Nails 2013

Hey everyone!
I got my laptop repaired (finally) and even though I had a busy week (my birthday was this Tuesday), I managed to paint my nails twice so I'm gonna show you two manicures today! :D

Am dus laptopul la reparat (in sfarsit) si, chiar daca am avut o saptamana incarcata (a fost ziua mea, marti), am reusit sa-mi fac unghiile de doua ori, asa ca astazi am sa va arat doua manichiuri! :D

Animal Print

Hello! ^_^
I am going to show you my first attempt at Animal Print on nails. I have a very brave friend, Iulia, who lets me practice on her nails from time to time. She came up with the idea and, a day before we met in order for me to paint her nails, I found out that this week's challenge in the Tip Top contest was "hearts & animal print".

Here is what I did for the Tip Top contest, where I was only allowed to use pink, purple, brown, nudes and black. I tried many styles till I was satisfied with what I had on my nails. I hope you like it as well! :D

And here is what I did for Iulia, on her birthday (Happy Birthday again, Jules! ^_^) : black nails with one golden accent nail with animal print. Enjoy! ^_^

Cotton Candy Delight

I got a great shade of pink nail polish by Avon, from two of my greatest friends  for my B'Day and I wanted to try it as soon as possible. I didn't know what to match it with so I took a light blue nail polish by Miss Sporty ( which I got from another lovely friend, last summer) and I combined them into a manicure, about which my boyfriend says that it reminds him of babies ( baby boy blue and baby girl pink). ^_^

I added some rhinestones I also got or my B'Day and some pretty stars to make look more "my style".

My B'Day Nails!

Last week I celebrated my B'Day with some of my best friends. We had sweets, chips, pizza and my homemade cake with decorative kittens made from marzipan. It was fun! :D

Also, one of my friends is a great photographer ( you can see more of his photographs here: http://andreinicoaraphoto.blogspot.com/ ) and he took some awesome pictures, including the one with my nails! :D

So, this is a double premiere for the blog - my first B'day celebration since I started the blog aaand the first picture of my manicure took by a professional photographer. Yaaay!

My manicure was inspired by the dress I wore and I used tones of grey, red and black. I also added some glitter to make it more similar to the dress. I hope you like it! ^_^
