January's Nails Challenge - Pantone Colors

As you can see, I have joined a new challenge this month, one that is inspired by the month we're in. My original idea was to do some winter themed manicures this month, but Mădălina had some great ideas, as well, so, along with the girls from the TPA group we settled upon these themes:

Nail Team Challenge - Inspired by someone close to you

I'm really happy and excited that this week I get to show you my idea for the Nail Team Challenge!!! *squeaks like a fangirl*

My idea was to create a manicure inspired by someone close to me and, obviously, I chose my boyfriend and our relationship as my inspiration. At first I was thinking of drawing events from our relationship or little symbols on each nail but in the end I did something a little more abstract.

T.P.A Group Challenge: 17. Hippie nails

Late night post... old habits die hard! :P
Tonight I'm going to show you a manicure inspired by the HIPPIE "trend" that started way back in the 1960s and survived up to this point. It's a lot more than a trend, actually - for some people it's a lifestyle and for others is an inspiration.
The hippie "style" is characterized by bright colors, flowery patterns, stripes, dots, peace signs, musical notes and everything that suggests FREEDOM, so I decided to paint my nails as bright as possible, with a lot of patterns, colors and almost everything that I can relate to HAPPINESS. :D

O postare tarzie in noapte, cum aveam obiceiul sa fac mai demult! :P
In aceasta seara am sa va arat o manichiura inspirata de "curentul" HIPPIE, care dateaza inca din anii '60 si a supravietuit pana in ziua de azi. Este mai mult decat un curent, sincer - pentru unii oameni este un stil de viata, iar pentru altii este o sursa de inspiratie.
"Stilul" hippie se caracterizeaza prin culori vii, modele inflorate, dungi, buline, semne ale pacii, note muzicale si cam tot ce sugereaza LIBERTATE, asa ca am decis sa imi pictez unghiile cat mai vesel, cu o multime de modele, culori si aproape tot ce este, in opinia mea, legat de FERICIRE. :D

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 12. Inspired by... bow nails!

Almost on time... this time! :D
This week we had a fun and easy challenge - to create a manicure inspired by bows!
I decided to choose two bright colors and a matte top coat and add bows made out of little plastic hearts and small round rhinestones. I really like the result! ^_^

Aproape la timp... de data asta! :D
In aceasta saptamana am avut o provocare simpla si amuzanta - sa creem o manichiura inspirata de fundite!
Am decis sa aleg doua culori puternice si un top coat mat si sa adaug fundite facute din inimioare micute din plastic si pietricele rotunde. Imi place mult rezultatul! ^_^

Hearts & dots & spots

Cotton Candy Delight

I got a great shade of pink nail polish by Avon, from two of my greatest friends  for my B'Day and I wanted to try it as soon as possible. I didn't know what to match it with so I took a light blue nail polish by Miss Sporty ( which I got from another lovely friend, last summer) and I combined them into a manicure, about which my boyfriend says that it reminds him of babies ( baby boy blue and baby girl pink). ^_^

I added some rhinestones I also got or my B'Day and some pretty stars to make look more "my style".

Black & Pink

Hello! ^_^

This is a manicure I had a few weeks ago, when I spent a full weekend with my boyfriend. As a result, my nails were influenced by the fact that he was with me... *blushes*

I rarely paint hearts on my nails, but I often use the french manicure in different color combinations - it's easy and looks nice. 

I love the combination between dark pink and black because it's the way I picture punk music ( one of my favorite music genres) and I find it very dynamic. :)

I used Dark Chocolate and Bubblicious from Maybeline, my favorite nail polish brand at the moment. 

 As usual, my nails are different on each hand, but I like how they turned out. :P

This is my last post with pictures from my stack, since I have changed my manicure today and I will take some pictures tomorrow.  Bye bye! ^_^
