Water Marble - Blue & Green

Last week I met with my friend, Laula, and we talked about tv series, music and, among many other things, nails (of course!). :D We both considered trying the water marble technique again, since we haven't experimented much with it. After she left, I was really anxious to do my nails (dooh, when aren't I?) so I grabbed some nail polishes, a glass of water an some tape and tried the technique again.

Saptamana trecuta m-am intalnit cu prietena mea, Laula, si am vorbit despre seriale, muzica si multe, multe altele, binenteles si despre unghii (evident!). :D Amandoua ne gandeam sa incercam din nou tehnica water marble, mai ales ca n-am experimentat prea mult cu ea. Dupa ce a plecat, eram foarte nerabdatoare sa-mi fac unghiile (dooh, cand nu sunt?) asa ca mi-am luat cateva lacuri din colectie, un pahar cu apa si putin scotci si am incercat din nou tehnica.

T.P.A Group Challenge: 29. Bling Bling nails

BLING BLING!

This is a theme I had no idea how to interpret... I tried rhinestones, but the manicure looked too raffish. I tried using only a holographic nail polish but that was too plain. So I added glitter and a liquid sand... and it was perfect! (well, in my opinion, at least :P )
Unfortunately, the weather was mean to me again so the pictures don't really show you haw shiny and beautiful my manicure is... Oh well...

De data asta n-am avut nici cea mai vaga idee cum sa interpretez aceasta tema ... Am incercat sa aplic pietricele, dar manichiura arata prea impopotonata. Am incercat sa folosesc o oja holografica, dar arata prea simplu. Asa ca am adaugat utin slipici si o oja tip liquid sand... si a fost perfect! (in opinia mea. cel putin :P )
Din pacate, vreme nu a tinut cu mine nici de aceasta data asa ca pozele nu va arata exact cat de sclipitoare si frumoasa e manichiura... In fine...

Blue & Yellow

I was in a colorful mood these days and that was reflected by both, my clothes and my nails! :D Unfortunately the sun didn't smile too much so I wasn't able to take many pictures...

Am fost intr-o dispozitie foarte colorata zilele trecute si acest lucru a fost reflectat atat de hainele mele cat si de unghiutele mele! :D
Din pacate, soarele nu a prea zambit asa ca nu am reusit sa fac multe poze...

Golden mauve

Hello fellow nail art lovers! ^_^


I'm finally done with all the exams and I have some time to relax and paint my nails. (Yay!)
A few days ago the co-owner of the blog's Facebook page, Laula, came over for a little chit-chat and we ended up painting our nails (obviously :P). I had recently acquired some new nail polishes - you can see them at the end of the post - and even though I was curious to try them, I had another manicure idea in my mind...

Am terminat in sfarsit cu examenele si acum am putin timp pentru relaxare si pentru a-mi picta unghiile. (Yay!)
Acum cateva zile, co-detinatoarea paginii de Facebook a blogului, Laula, a venit in vizita la mine sa stam la povesti si in final am ajuns sa ne vopsim unghiutele (evident :P). Am achizitionat de curand cateva lacuri de unghii noi - le puteti vedea la finalul postarii - si, desi eram curioasa sa le incerc, aveam in minte o alta idee de manichiura...

Barbie nails

Since Christmas is that time of the year when it's most likely for us to think about childhood (the way Santa Clause used to visit us and leave us gifts, the toys we received that made us happy, the joyful moments with our family etc.) I thought it was about time I brought something a little more childish to the blog: Barbie nails! :D

Deoarece Craciunul este acea perioada a anului in care este cel mai probabil ca noi sa ne amintim de copilarie (modul in care Mos Craciun ne vizita si ne aducea cadouri, jucariile pe care le primeam si ne faceau fericiti, momentele minunate petrecute alaturi de familie etc.) m-am gandit sa aduc putin aer de copilarie si pe blog: unghiute Barbie! :D

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 10. Inspired by an animal

Hey everyone!
I'm late again, my laptop isn't fixed and I'm incredibly tired so this is gonna be a really short post.
The theme was "inspired by an animal" and I wanted to be somewhat unconventional again so I painted my nails in pink, drew some sheep on a few of them and added some velvet powder on others. I also added some glitter above the sheep, to make the nails even more funky. ^_^

Am intarziat din nou cu postarea, laptopul meu nu e reparat si sunt extrem de obosita asa ca aceasta va fi o postare foarte scurta.
Tema din aceasta saptamana a fost "inspirata de un animal" si am vrut sa aleg ceva mai neconventional din nou, asa ca mi-am pictat unghiile roz, am desenat niste oi pe cateva dintre ele si am adaugat praf de catifea pe aletele. De asemenea am adaugat sclipici deasupra oitelor, sa le fac si mai diferite. ^_^

Saptamana aceasta am inceput un curs de unghii tehnice (unghii cu gel) si am vrut sa va arat prima mea incercare. Ce parere aveti? :D

Starry Summer Nights (Justy Cosmetics Glitter Review)

Hello! ^_^

Today I'm going to show you two of the glitter nail polishes that I bought during my trip to Spain. The name of the brand is "Justy Cosmetics" (I haven't seen any nail polishes from this brand in Romania) and I think their popularity there is similar to the Golden Rose, Rapsodi and Gabrini brands that we find here. Their price range is between 1-3 euros, from what I've seen.

Astazi am sa va arat doua dintre lacurile de unghii cu sclipici, pe care le-am cumparat in timpul excursiei mele in Spania. Numele firmei este "Justy Cosmetics" (nu am vazut lacuri de unghii cu acesta denumire in Romania) si cred ca acolo se bucura de acceasi popularitate precum Golden Rose, Rapsodi si Gabrini la noi. Din cate am vazut, pretul lor variaza intre 1-3 euro.
