Nail Team Challenge - Water Decals

Time for a new blog post! ^_^
I keep telling myself that I should post more often but I just don't seem to find the time for this right now so I keep postponing. Anyway, I'm lucky that the other lovely nail art bloggers keep creating challenges with fun themes that I can join and that way I get to do my nails at least once a week. Yay! :P

Enough chit-chat, I should start talking about today's challenge, which was Deyutza's idea - Water decals!I rarely use this type of stickers/tattoos because I like painting freehand, but I did have some super cute water decals from a nail art contest I won and I really wanted to use them this spring. ^_^

Nail Team Challenege - Cartoons - Clash of clans

Another week, another post! Yay! :D

This week's theme is "Cartoons" and it was Teo's idea. I chose a different approach for it and drew cartoon characters from a game that I play, Supercell's "Clash of Clans", instead of real cartoons/animation films, which I have presented on the blog here, a while ago.

Before I show you my nails, I wanna tell you why I chose some characters from the game, instead of one of my favorite Disney movies (yes, I'm one of those people) or from one of the many cartoons I used to watch as a child. The reason is that this little game, which I started playing because a friend needed clan members and I was bored and decided to help him, gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of funny people and I even played it with my boyfriend. I spent loads of hours ( I know, I know...) playing this game and making strategies for wars and attacks, and even though I don't play it as much anymore, I still talk to the people I met during almost a year of game-play, so it kinda means a lot to me.

Anyway, back to the nail-related stuff. Here is what I did for today:

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter J for... Jigsaw! :D

This week I've been playing around with themes and colors, trying to find something right for the theme. I thought about "Jade" (too monochrome for me), "Jasmine" (Disney, you're to blame for this!) or "Justice" (too much law school already) and, being puzzled, I settled for "Jigsaw" (pun intended :P ).

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter B... for Bambi (wannabe)

Ok, so I'm late with the post... But there's a good reason for that!!! I umm... was away for a week, and even though I had my laptop and my camera with me, I wasn't able to use them - my camera's battery died and well, making a picture-less post on a nail art blog would have been weird...

"So yeah, here is my manicure - oh wait, you can't see it! Well... we have some green, brown..."

No. Anyway, taaa-daaaah! my manicure inspired by the letter B.... for Bambi! :D

Easter Nails!

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! I didn't have the time to post this manicure yesterday but today isn't too late either (or is it?). :D

Water Marble - Blue & Green

Last week I met with my friend, Laula, and we talked about tv series, music and, among many other things, nails (of course!). :D We both considered trying the water marble technique again, since we haven't experimented much with it. After she left, I was really anxious to do my nails (dooh, when aren't I?) so I grabbed some nail polishes, a glass of water an some tape and tried the technique again.

Saptamana trecuta m-am intalnit cu prietena mea, Laula, si am vorbit despre seriale, muzica si multe, multe altele, binenteles si despre unghii (evident!). :D Amandoua ne gandeam sa incercam din nou tehnica water marble, mai ales ca n-am experimentat prea mult cu ea. Dupa ce a plecat, eram foarte nerabdatoare sa-mi fac unghiile (dooh, cand nu sunt?) asa ca mi-am luat cateva lacuri din colectie, un pahar cu apa si putin scotci si am incercat din nou tehnica.

T.P.A Group Challenge: 28. Tutti Frutti

This week's challenge is a very colorful and fun one - "Tutti Frutti"! I had many ideas but not very much time so my manicure is a simple but bright one. :D

Provocarea din aceasta saptamana este una colorata si distractiva - "Tutti Frutti"! Aveam multe idei la inceput, insa nu am avut destul timp asa ca manichiura ma este simpla dar vesela. :D

Happy Mother's/Woman's Day! :D
Today I will show you a manicure inspired by spring and freedom. I chose a green gradient to represent spring and butterflies to express freedom. I really like how it turned out so I took a lot of pictures and I even played a bit with some of them (you'll see) using an online program called Fotor. ^_^

La multi ani cu ocazia zilei mamei/femeii! :D
Azi am sa va arat o manichiura inspirata de primavara si libertate. Am ales un gradient verde care reprezinta primavara si am desenat fluturasi pentru a exprima ideea de libertate. Imi place mult cum mi-a iesit manchiura asa ca am facut o gramada de poze si chiar m-am jucat cu cateva din ele (veti vedea) folosind un program de editat poze numit Fotor. ^_^
Sa aveti o zi fumoasa!!!

Getting into the Christmas spirit!

Hello! :D
I'm starting to get the "Chritsmasy" feeling everyone has been talking about lately so I decided to create a manicure that fits the theme. I was inspired by cranberries - I ate a whole bunch lately ^_^ - so my manicure has the specific colors of those lovely fruits (red and green) and a touch of blue, just cause I like the combo. :P

Am inceput si eu sa simt ca se apropie Craciunul, senzatia despre care toata lumea vorbeste in ultima vreme, asa ca am decis sa creez o manichiura care sa se potriveasca cu aceasta tema. Am fost inspirata de merisoare - am mancat o gramada in ultima vreme ^_^ - asa ca manichiura mea are culorile specifice acestor minunate fructe (rosu si verde) si putin albastru, pentru ca-mi place combinatia. :P

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 2. Inspired by a flower

Hello everybody! :D
Sorry I'm late with this post but I've had a busy day + almost no inspiration at all. The idea that saved me belongs to my boyfriend who suggested I painted carnivore plants (flowers) on my nails because he thinks they're pretty representative for me (I didn't have the courage to ask why...).

Imi pare rau ca am intarziat atat cu postarea, insa am avut o zi plina + nici un pic de inspiratie. Ideea salvatoare ii apartine prietenului meu, care mi-a sugerat sa pictez plante (flori) carnivore, deoarece el crede ca ma reprezinta (n-am avut curajul sa-l intreb de ce crede asta...).

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 1. Inspired by Pop Art

I'm so excited about this post/challenge that I just don't know what to say and how to start! ^_^
Sunt atat de incantata de aceasta postare/provocare incat  nici nu stiu de unde sa incep! ^_^

First of all, this challenge was created by Georgia (I think you're familiar with this name now) for our polish addicts group on Facebook and I think it's one of the coolest challenges I've seen up to this point.
Second, today's challenge is entitled "Inspired by Pop Art" - a difficult theme but I think I managed to get the best out of me regarding it. ^_^
