July's Nail Challenge - Negative Space

Hello, nail art lovers!

As you can see from the title, this week's challenge was to do a manicure with some negative space. I dislike this type of nail art because I like nails fully polished, however, I decided to give it a chance and interpret it in my own way. ^_^

I did a twist on the classic french manicure, that also contains some negative space, as it is.  :D
The inspiration for my manicure is more interesting than the manicure itself, so please read on, to find out what it was and keep an eye on my blog for a post explaining everything!

Nail Art Marathon 2015 - 11. Sea Shells

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the late post! I've recently moved out (last Saturday) and I'm attempting to become a grown-up *giggles* so I didn't have time to make this post or to do my nails... I don't have a stable internet connection so my posts may be delayed. Again, I'm sorry!

Last week's theme was Iulia's idea and, as you can see from the title, it's related to sea shells. I love sea shells and I had a cool idea on my mind, but packing and unpacking did not give me much free time to get creative. This is what I came up with:

Natural light

Nail Team Challenge - Tape mani

Halfway through our collaboration! :D

This week I will show you a manicure that I enjoyed wearing even though my short nails still upset me. The theme was Rita's idea and we were supposed to use nail art tape in our manicures. ^_^

I thought that, since my nails don't look as good as they used to when they were long, I should at least go for a semi-complicate pattern. I used a blue-pink-puple base (stripes) and a textured nail polish over the pattern designed using the tape. I've never used this much nail art tape so far but it was pretty fun and I finally got the hang of it! (feeling proud!)

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter N for... Nemo! :D

This is going to be a short post because I'm a bit late (had to post it on Saturday but I got distracted). The idea of painting something inspired by Nemo on my nails only came to me yesterday while talking to a special person (you know who you are :*) and after my previous manicure turned out to be a huge fail.

My first O.P.I. nail lacquers/Under the sea manicure

Ok, so, I got a bit lazy and forgot to post on the blog. This manicure is two weeks old, from when I bought my first O.P.I. nail lacquers and it is also an entry for the Tip Top contest I've been talking about lately...

The theme was "nature" and I decided to go with something simple and bright which would still let the O.P.I. nail polish stand out. Here is what I came up with:

And these are my very first three O.P.I. nail lacquers:

1. Nothin' Moussie 'Bout It

2. Liquid Sand - Get Your Number

3. I Have A Herring Problem
