This week we had a very fun challenge: cartoons! :D
It was very hard for me to choose one cartoon that I loved and paint it on my nails, since I was an avid consumer of Cartoon Network shows, back in the 90's, and I watched almost all the cartoons that they aired (except for "Courage, the Cowardly Dog" - I hated that one).

In aceasta saptamana avem o provocare foarte amuzanta: desene animate! :D
A fost foarte greu pentru mine sa aleg un singur desen animat pe care l-am iubit si sa-l pictez pe unghiile mele, deoarece am fost o consumatoare avida a desenelor de pe Cartoon Network, in anii 90', si am vazut cam toate desenele animate pe care le-au difuzat pe-atunci (exceptie facand "Courage, the Cowardly Dog" - l-am urat pe acela).
Pentru ca nu am reusit sa aleg doar un singur desen animat, am ales sa va prezint doua manichiuri astazi!
The first cartoon I was inspired by, is "Mina and the Count" - a lovely cartoon about a little girl and a vampire. I used two shades of purple for the background and I created stickers using nail polish and acrylic paint (the technique will be presented on the blog, later today). For the other nails I tried the Sugar Spun technique, using a black base and white & silver polish. ^_^
Primul desen animat din care m-am inspirat este "Mina si Contele" - un minunat desen animat despre o fetita si un vampir. Am folosit doua nuante de mov pentru baza si am creeat abtibilduri utilizand vopsea acrilica si lacuri de unghii (am sa va prezint tehnica mai tarziu, pe blog). Pe celelalte unghii am incercat tehnica Sugar Spun, folosind o baza neagra si lacuri de unghii in nuante de alb si argintiu. ^_^

The second manicure is inspired by another cartoon that I used to enjoy watching (despite the fact that I'm a cat person) - "2 Stupid Dogs" - a funny cartoon about... yes, you guessed: two dogs! :D
I took the opportunity to use one of the polishes I won at Josephine's (Rainbows in a Jar) giveaway (the blue one) and I painted the dogs' faces using acrylic paint. ^_^
Cea de-a doua manichiura e inspirata de un alt desen animat la care ma uitam cu placere (in ciuda faptului ca eu prefer pisicile) - " 2 Stupid Dogs" - un desen foarte comic despre... da, ati ghicit: doi caini! :D
Am profitat de aceasta sansa si am incercat unul dintre lacurile de unghii castigate la giveaway-ul Josephinei (Rainbows in a Jar) - cea albastra - si am pictat fetele cainilor folosind vopsea acrilica. ^_^

Ce haioase si frumos executate sunt modelele! La prima animatie nu prea ma uitam, dar la a 2-a da :)) Pupicei.
P.S.: Imi place foarte mult colierul. Sa-l porti sanatoasa. Eu imi doresc unul pe care sa-l agat in camera. Am tot amanat achizitionarea lui :))

Imi plac ambele manichiuri la fel de mult
Sunt foarte haioase si dragute unghiile tale, imi plac mult si astept sa citesc si despre tehnica mentionata de tine ;)
