Are you getting used to the warm weather? Do the pretty flowers and cute insects that pop up everywhere make you happy and allow you to see things in a brighter and more colorful way? It works for me so I decided to make my manicure just as bright and colorful.
I've had green nail before... even at the beginning of the year, since it's the color of the year, yet this time I took a different approach - pastel green. I don't usually wear pastels, but the colors looked so pretty together that I just had to create this manicure.
Spring is in the air and there are pretty flowers everywhere! Wow, look at me making a rhyme...
As you might know, I'm not a big fan of spring and flowers, however, I do like the color pink. The flowers we had to paint today, cherry blossoms, vary from white to fuchsia, so I managed to play a bit with these colors. Here's what I came out with:
This week we were inspired by beautiful dresses, cute blouses and other nice pieces of clothing to create unique manicures. As my clothes are mostly black, I decided to look up a dress online. Here's what I found:
Spring is here, a bit too soon in my opinion. I was starting to enjoy the semi-cold weather and I had just received a very cute new scarf. Oh well...
Since I was super busy this week, but I promised I would not be late with my posts, again, I had to make a quick manicure last night so I went with a green gradient. I've used green so much lately, no wonder it's the color of the year!
This week's theme is pretty straight forward so I don't have much explaining to do. Even though my favorite color is black, followed closely by red, when I went to my shelves to pick nail polishes these two blue ones "got stuck" to my hand.
Today, we go green! :D
Today's theme is all about the color of the year, which was chosen by the Pantone Institute, Greenery. The color is a nice shade of green with yellow undertones and, as the official website describes it, it "evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew" and, as "a life-affirming shade, Greenery is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality".
Welcome to 2017! My first post of the year won't be an awesome one, but I do hope you'll like my nails. Unfortunately, I broke two nails between Christmas and NYE so I had to cut down all of them (I see a pattern here) and now they're all super-short.
We have a new challenge going on, called Saturday's Theme and I'm really looking forward to it, since most of the ideas are creative and I haven't tried them so far. I just hope my nails will grow so that I can paint them easier.
For today's theme, we had to have a clock design on our nails. I couldn't find any decals in stores, so I painted mine. Here's what I came up with:
