This post is online pretty late, but I managed to write it on time, yay!
The weekly theme is Rita's idea and it pretty much concludes the series of summer manicures for the marathon. I'm a little sad that summer is ending, but I'm super happy that the weather will change.
Anyway, back to nails... This time, since the theme was so rich, I chose to draw jellyfish on my tiny nails. ^_^
I got my inspiration from this picture, which I found on Google.
I always thought that jellyfish are really interesting, but I know they can sting pretty badly so I keep away from them, when at the seaside.
I started off with a blue gradient, created using Ados 636 and Rimmel London I <3 lasting finish 198 Azure. Afterwards, I applied a matte top coat and started drawing the jellyfish. I used my new set of acrylic paints, which I will show you in a future post. ^_^
I finished it off with a glossy top coat.
The air bubbles on my thumb nail and pinky are created using the water drop technique. ^_^
What do you think of my design? Aren't the little jellyfish adorable? I've had this manicure on my nails for a whole week and I'm still not bored with it! *giggles*
