February's Nails Challenge - Valentine's Day | Sophie's Nail Art Dreamland

Hello, everyone! Happy V'day!

This week was the week of lovebirds, filled with hearts, pink stuff and sweets. Really not my cup of tea. :))) Either way, I decided to join in "the fun" and create a somewhat Valentine's Day themed manicure. I went for something really simple, but cute:

I started by painting two nails silver and the rest light blue, baby pink and light purple. I was in the mood for pastels. Afterwards, using acrylic paint and this image as an inspiration, I drew the cute demon bunnies in blue and pink. They're like a couple that doesn't need cheesy hearts or messages, they're just simply happy.

I was thinking of painting something on my other nails, as well, but decided to leave them simple because I loved the contrast. They look really bright and the manicure made me smile every time I looked at my hands/nails.

I had to combine more shades of pink/blue with white to obtain the shades and contour of the demon-bunnies. Here is a macro so you can see them better:

Oh, oh, btw! After a few days my nails polish started to crack because of the top coat I used. This happened many other times with the Gel Top Coat from Farmec, so if you're from Romania, I don't advise you to buy it. I've seen some good online reviews for it, but in my opinion, it's totally not worth it.
