The beginning of spring... theoretically

Soooo, spring is here - officially! ^_^

In Romania, there is a tradition on the 1st of March through which we celebrate spring. Boys give girls little gifts, small things related or not to spring that are supposed to bring good luck to the ones that wear them: four leafed clovers, ladybugs, flowers, horseshoes, chimney sweepers etc. Also, the trinket is accompanied by a small red & white cord which symbolizes cold & heat.

You can read more about this tradition here: Martisor

Today I received some cute trinkets - a dragonfly, a snowdrop and a blue pendant with a moon and stars. Also, I created two manicures with this theme. :D

Potrivit traditiei am primit astazi cateva martisoare dragalase si mi-am facut si eu doua manichiuri in ton cu aceasta sarbatoare. :D

I'm not very fond of the first manicure -  I just combined more styles cause I couldn't decide for one...
Nu sunt prea incantata de prima manichiura - am combinat cateva stiluri pentru ca nu ma puteam hotari asupra unuia singur...

Tell me what you think! :p
Spuneti-mi voi ce credeti! :p

Foarte dragute ambele manichiuri, eu din pacate nu am realizat o manichiura pentru ocazia asta

Super dragute amandoua. Imi place in mod special, modelul de pe degetul mare de la a 2-a manichiura.
