This week's challenge was Ella's idea and it implies me showing you a manicure by one of my favorite bloggers, that I recreated on my nails. It was very hard for me to choose, especially because I know the girls form TPA group and how talented they are and I would have loved to try to recreate one of their ideas, but I thought that it would be better not to "discriminate" so I chose an "outsider".
The manicure I am going to show you is one of the manicures you can find on The Daily Nail's blog, one of my favorite nail artists. This is a reinterpretation of her "non-lovey-dovey Valentine's manicure..." which you can see here. The reason I chose this manicure is because I feel that Facebook, pinterest and almost all the blogs I love have been invaded by V'Day inspired manicures a little too soon so you can see this as my statement regarding this, I guess.
Anyway, enough about this. I should show you my nails :D
And this is my inspiration:
* I don't own this picture, it belongs to The Daily Nail
I loved the manicure and the idea behind it, "the Valentine's day Massacre". To recreate it I used a black nail polish from Miss Sporty, Avon Nailwear pro+ in the "Cherry Jubilee" shade and Avon Matte "Gray Cement", Farmasi nr. 51 and one of my no-name Hello Kitty nail polishes, 08 Orange (the flesh-like color).
*this is NOT A REAL GUN, it's a plastic gun I had for a Halloween costume
and I thought it would look good considering the theme ^_^
I really love this manicure and how the heart made out of bullet wounds looks. Also, the pattern on the 20s inspired costume looks really cool in my opinion. ^_^
