This week's theme is "Glam nails" and it was Alyce's idea. I thought I was going to do a golden manicure with loads of rhinestones but then I listened to Fergie's "Glamorous" and another idea came to my mind - keeping it simple with just a little glam here and there. That's how this manicure was created.

Nail Team Challenge - Water Decals

Iiiiiiiit's Saturdaaaaaay!!! :D

Time for a new blog post! ^_^
I keep telling myself that I should post more often but I just don't seem to find the time for this right now so I keep postponing. Anyway, I'm lucky that the other lovely nail art bloggers keep creating challenges with fun themes that I can join and that way I get to do my nails at least once a week. Yay! :P

Enough chit-chat, I should start talking about today's challenge, which was Deyutza's idea - Water decals!I rarely use this type of stickers/tattoos because I like painting freehand, but I did have some super cute water decals from a nail art contest I won and I really wanted to use them this spring. ^_^

Nail Team Challenge - Retro manicure

Retro nails! Iulia's idea really sounded like a challenge at first but after looking at some retro patterns on the web, inspiration "hit" me - dots! :D I know it's not a very original idea, but it was the best I've got and I kinda like the result. ^_^

Nail Team Challenge - Tape mani

Halfway through our collaboration! :D

This week I will show you a manicure that I enjoyed wearing even though my short nails still upset me. The theme was Rita's idea and we were supposed to use nail art tape in our manicures. ^_^

I thought that, since my nails don't look as good as they used to when they were long, I should at least go for a semi-complicate pattern. I used a blue-pink-puple base (stripes) and a textured nail polish over the pattern designed using the tape. I've never used this much nail art tape so far but it was pretty fun and I finally got the hang of it! (feeling proud!)

First Day of Spring

Hello! Today we celebrate the first day of spring with a cute collaboration initiated by Iulia from the Polish Addicts group. I found the idea really cute and I had a manicure in mind but it didn't turn out as cute as I thought it would (more like Halloween massacre than first day of spring) so I did something else. Unfortunately the second manicure wasn't good either so I decided to do my nails again, today. And guess what? My middle nail broke so I had to cut them all. :| 

Here are my two attempts for "The first day of spring" manicures. Don't laugh too hard:

The first one was inspired by the symbols for charms that are given to ladies in Romania for the first day of spring: horseshoes, four-leaf clovers, ladybugs and a chimney-sweeper.

The second manicure is just a simple blue base with water decals - colorful animal print & pink roses.

Check our what the other bloggers did, I'm sure they did a lot better than me. ^_^

Nail Team Challenge - 50 shades of green

Hello everyone! 

I'm almost late with this post so it won't be a long one :)))

Today's idea belongs to Andra Kat and it's called "50 shades of green" - her favorite nail polish color. I like the idea and with this occasion I got to see how many green nail polishes I actually have - a lot!
