Nail Art Marathon 2015 - 29. Favorite Song

Hello, hello!

December is the first month of Winter and this, along with Mada's idea are what inspired me to do this manicure. :D

The song I chose is one of my all-time favorite songs: Frozen by Celldweller:

Fist time I heard this song was in 2008 and I fell in love with it instantly. It's so dark and mysterious and sexy! Needless to say, I know the lyrics by heart, he he.

I'm unpleased with the pictures I managed to take because the lighting was awful (inside and outside) and it didn't do justice to the nails. The holographic glitter was not visible in the pictures I took outside and the gradient was too blurry in the ones I took inside. I need a better camera...

The idea behind the manicure was simple: I painted my nails black and did a white/blue gradient afterwards. Before adding a top coat, I dabbed some holo glitter over the white.

Since the song is about a man's fantasy, I tried to reproduce that idea on my nails by creating a black, blue and white gradient towards the center of the nail and drawing a woman's silhouette with black acrylic paint. The result was pleasing for my eyes and I think I managed to show a glimpse about what the song is about.
