Nail Art Marathon 2015 - 12. Rainbow Nails

Hello, nail art lovers! :D

This week's post is late, as well, but I promise to be on time tomorrow and the weeks that will come. The "rainbow nails" idea belongs to Iulia and I chose to interpret it a little different and more glittery. :D

I know there are seven colors in the rainbow spectrum, but I wanted to make a cute design so I stuck to six: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet.

I started by painting my nails white and applying a glow in the dark top coat (forgot to take pictures in the dark, sorry...). Afterwards I dabbed some nail polish on the tips of my nails and added glitter on top. Each glitter shade, matches the nail polish. In the end, on my pinkies and thumbs I painted some zebra stripes using acrylic paint. I like the result. :D

I used so many nail polishes for this manicure that I can't remember everything... I know I used Avon Gel look and Golden Rose Jolly Jewels for the red, Avon shimmery orange and Trendy colors for the orange and Rimmel London Rita Ora for the yellow with Moyra glitter on top.

For the green I used a combo between Avon and She-bunny, Blue is Essence + Rimmel and Purple is simple Golden Rose Carnival.

Whenever I get the time I'll update the post. Or you can ask for the colors/glitter and I'll go through my collection. ^_^

I have never done a zebra pattern on my nails, but I think it looks pretty decent. What do you think?
