Nail Art Marathon 2015 - 27.Jelly Sandwich

Hello, hello!

A new week, a new post and another manicure which I hope you will like! :D

This time, Kinga thought that we should try using the jelly sandwich technique on our nails and we all obeyed with no hesitation. :D

I have to admit that I didn't have any jelly polishes so I had to improvise. I used Astor Perfect Stay - Just Fabulous 604 as a base (over the base coat, of course) and then added a golden glitter from Essence - 121 Gold Fever.

Because I didn't have a jelly nail polish, I mixed some of the purple nail polish with a clear nail polish, on a palette and then dabbed it in one coat over the glitter. The effect was "wow".

Because I thought the manicure was too simple, I added a golden frame, painted with acrylic paint.

Unfortunately, the light couldn't catch the glitter's shininess very well so I took a close up picture of my thumb's nail, so you can see the result better:

What do you think? Would you wear this manicure while eating some fresh, warm cookies? I know I would. I find the manicure elegant and, for some reason, royal? :)))
