October's Nail Challenge - Halloween

Boo!

Did that scare you? No? Great! Because my nails won't, either! 

This year I chsoe to go with something classy for Halloween, but still in the ghoul-ish spirit. (see what I did there?) I reinterpreted a Candy Corn and this is what I came up with:

My right hand's middle finger had an accident, so you will only be seeing the left hand for a while...

I started with a yellow base and sponged a gradient over it. The colors I used were yellow, orange and grafit black, to replace the original white. I thought it cold be like a smoked Candy Corn. On top I added a glitter topper and finished it off with a matting top coat.

I couldn't decide if the manicure looked better in natural or artifficial light so I tried both. What do you think?
