Saturday's Theme - Clocks

Hello, nail art lovers!

Welcome to 2017! My first post of the year won't be an awesome one, but I do hope you'll like my nails. Unfortunately, I broke two nails between Christmas and NYE so I had to cut down all of them (I see a pattern here) and now they're all super-short. 

We have a new challenge going on, called Saturday's Theme and I'm really looking forward to it, since most of the ideas are creative and I haven't tried them so far. I just hope my nails will grow so that I can paint them easier.

For today's theme, we had to have a clock design on our nails. I couldn't find any decals in stores, so I painted mine. Here's what I came up with:

I started off by painting may nails with two coats of green nail polish - in my opinion it's a color that is close to the emblematic Slytherin green (any Potter-heads out there?) and after it dried, I painted a regular clock on the side of one nail and an hourglass on another. For the sand in the hour-glass I used silver glitter and I added some of it on another nail as well, like a glitter curtain.
