Creative Nails Collab - Barbie Nails

Hi nail art lovers,

Do you ever feel... like "a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world"? Does Aqua's song "Barbie girl" appeal to you? Then this theme must be to your liking!

Saturday's Theme - Winter Wonderland

Hello, nail art lovers!

Today's theme was one of my favorites, however, I did not have enough time to paint my nails the way I wanted so I opted for a simple manicure with a stamped design.

Saturday's Theme - Snowflakes

Hello, nail art lovers!

Today's theme is... not in tone with the weather, unfortunately. Even though the Christmas spirit can be felt around us, snow has yet to come and, instead, it rained all day here.

However, maybe we can jinx the weather if our nails reflect what or hearts want, so, for today's challenge, we have... snowflakes!!!

Saturday's Theme - Feathers

Hello, nail art lovers!

A new weekend, a new theme!
Even though, today's theme is somewhat of a sequel for last week's theme, I had fun thinking of something creative to paint on my nails. I chose to paint a peacock feather because I've never had one of these on my nail before. ^_^

Saturday's Theme - Holo

Hello, nail art lovers! ^_^

This week's theme is really fun and I couldn't wait to do my nails. I even bought some awesome holographic nail polishes and nail foil, however, my camera could not do them justice.

Here are my holographic nails, that look quite simple, unfortunately:

Saturday's Theme - Antique

Hello, nail art lovers!

This week's theme was one I was really looking forward to, however, my nails did not turn up as I would have liked them too. Luckily, the manicure was still wearable in the end.

Saturday's Theme - Dots

Hello, nail art lovers!

This week's theme is very... dotty! Spots, dots, bubbles... everywhere! :D
It sounds like a pretty fun idea so I went with some colors that kinda remind me of clowns: red, silver and black.

Saturday's Theme - Clocks

Hello, nail art lovers!

Welcome to 2017! My first post of the year won't be an awesome one, but I do hope you'll like my nails. Unfortunately, I broke two nails between Christmas and NYE so I had to cut down all of them (I see a pattern here) and now they're all super-short.

We have a new challenge going on, called Saturday's Theme and I'm really looking forward to it, since most of the ideas are creative and I haven't tried them so far. I just hope my nails will grow so that I can paint them easier.

For today's theme, we had to have a clock design on our nails. I couldn't find any decals in stores, so I painted mine. Here's what I came up with:

December's nails challenge - Sparkle-icious, baby!

Hello, nail art lovers!

This week's manicure is definitely one of my favorites this year! I didn't spend much time doing it, but the result is still incredibly sparkly and gorgeous, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I broke a nail last week and I couldn't build a new one yet, so if you nice that one is thicker than the rest, it's because it's a fake nail I filed down to match the others.
Anyway, enough talking an let's see my nails!

January's Nails Challenge - Ice or Silver nails

Hello!
How is your Saturday going, so far? ^_^

Mine is going great, I'm relaxing at home, reading blog posts and eating chocolate, what could be better? Speaking of blog posts, this week our challenge goes on with another winter inspired theme - Ice or Silver nail. It was a pretty tough one for me, and I've gotten a bit bored of silver since all my last manicures were in that color, but this is what I came up with:

Nail Art Marathon 2015 - 30.Sugar Spun

Hello, happy people!

Christmas is coming very soon and so it the end of our Marathon. For the next few weeks I will try to bring a bit of Christmas in each of my manicures and bring joy to you all. :D

This week's theme was sugar spun, one of my favorite techniques and I decided to try it in two ways: normal and for a pattern. Here is the result:

Inspired by a pattern or outfit

Hello! :D

This week's post is going to be a special one because it will have two parts. The first one will be the part where I show you my manicure and tell you a bit about it and the second one will be a review for one of my first Born Pretty Store stamping plates, which will be on the blog next week. :D

Today's challenge was to create a manicure inspired by a pattern or outfit and it was Andrea's idea. On her blog you will see quite a few manicures inspired by pieces of clothing, a theme I really like, so you should check out some of her older posts as well.

I have done three manicures inspired by outfits before, but this is the first time I did a complex design. You can see two of them here and here. The third isn't featured on the blog, but it is relevant because it was inspired by a sari, just like the one I will show you today. :D

Nail Team Challenge - French manicure

Hello everyone! :D

This week me and the "Nail Team" continue our journey through different challenges, stopping at the one called "French manicure", Andreea's idea.
Personally, I consider this type of manicure very elegant and since my nail art is pretty crazy most of the time, it doesn't appear too often on my nails. However, I want to participate in every challenge so I said I'd give it a go. ^_^
I really wanted to do a classic french, but, guess what? One of my nails broke so I shortened all of them. A classic french would have looked really weird on my short nails so I did a reinterpretation. Check it out!

Shiny textured holiday nails

Hello everyone!

Today's manicure is inspired by the movie "Frozen" and includes a short review of one of the new Avon nail polish collections, called "Stardust". The shade I have is called "Teal Glitter" and, in my opinion, resembles Elsa's dress's color. :D

Anyway, I used this nail polish in a combination with one of my new favorites - Astor VIP Silver - and created a design on one of the nails, using nail art tape.

Christmas - Sweater nails ^_^ (mini tutorial)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Today I will show you the manicure I am wearing this Christmas and a mini tutorial for it. :D
The design is pretty common (you can find it on most X-mas themed sweaters) but I've been wanting to try it for a very long time and had a little free time now. ^_^

I used a metallic Ciate nail polish that looked golden on my nails but silver in the bottle and in the pictures (weird) and my favorite red, textured, nail polish from Essence (bottle's nearly empty).

The result came out pretty nice so I decided to make a tutorial for it as well, in case anyone would like to try it and doesn't find enough inspiration on Google... :P

Blue french

I'm pretty sure this year's color, in my case, was blue. :))) I used shades of blue in so many combinations! You can find some of them here, here and here

Back to the topic now... blue french... I've had this manicure in my mind for so long!!! But my nails were always too short. Last week I said I would give it a try and.. voila! ^_^

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter Q for... Quarter

Hey everyone!

This week's post is about a manicure I really like ( I mean really, really like and I'm incredibly proud of it) and I'v been pretty anxious to show you, even though my post is late. ^_^

My inspiration for this week was the word "quarter" and I thought a bit outside the box when doing my nails. I hope you'll like what turned out!

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter M for... mermaid!

“I think every little girl's dream is to be a mermaid or to see a mermaid. [When I was younger] I would go to the beach and cover myself in the sand. People from different cultures and centuries have the same idea of what mermaids are ... so that's maybe a cool thing to think about.”
― Emma Roberts

If you haven't figured it out yet (or read the title :P ) today's nail art was inspired by mermaids. One of my favorite cartoons as a child - and now - was (is) The Little Mermaid. I've watched it many times and kinda know a few of the songs by heart so a manicure inspired by it has been on my mind for quite a while.

My first thought for the letter M was "map" which turned into "marshmallow" and materialized as "mermaid" on my nails, in the end. (Yes, I do change my mind pretty often).

Chic pink - stickers!

Hello! :D

One more week and I can be back here on a regular basis and show you more manicures! I have a lot of ideas! Yay! :D
I still have a few exams to take but I couldn't miss out on Valentine's week ( It's not just a day anymore - some beauty bloggers began posting manicures for V-day in January and all the stores are decorated with hearts and lovey-dovey things since the beginning of February). ^_^
