Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter H for.. Harry Potter! (Hogwarts & Hedwig)
Ever since the first book appeared in Romania, I became obsessed with "Harry Potter". I love the idea of wizards, a school of wizardry and pet owls, almost as much as I love vampires! :">
This time, my idea came from a Facebook Harry Potter fan page that promoted Hogwarts quite a lot lately. ^_^ I looked on deviantART for inspiration and I found the perfect drawing of the school, which you can see here. Since I rarely wear the same design on both hand, I used another "symbol" from the book, that begins with the letter "H" - Hedwig, Harry's owl! :D

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter G for... Gummy Bears!
Even though this hasn't been the best week for me, I have a new manicure to share with you. ^_^
The letter G made me think about galaxy nails instantly because it's a technique I wanted to try for a long, long time, but, I decided to be a little more creative and paint Gummy Bears on my nails! :D
My first idea was to paint them using simple acrylic paint, but Laula suggested I used the Water Drop Technique (tutorial here) and I found her idea very appealing. This is the result:

This is a different post from what you're all used to.
Me and Laula decided to join a collaboration that is meant to raise awareness regarding texting and driving at the same time, this being on of the main causes of accidents on the road. The idea belongs to Beauty Shoes Nails & Fun and many other bloggers or nail art addicts have joined in.
Official details:
"The red thumb acts as a stop sign when we grab our phones.. it reminds us to STOP ... WE'RE DRIVING!!!!! The idea is for the red to stand out, so please do a regular NOT-RED mani and paint your thumb RED, if not both, do your dominant hand, the one you'll grab your phone with, nail art absolutely acceptable."
