August is here and so are countless music festivals that bring a lot of joy to people, therefore, this week's manicure is here to celebrate the month of music and fun memories.
I chose a lot of colors for this manicure, as the music that inspired me for this theme is super fun and positive: We Came as Romans - I'm glad you came

Creative Nails Collab - Welcome to the Jungle
In the Jungle, the mighty Jungle... the lion sleeps tonight...
A whim away, a whim away...
Ahem, I got a bit distracted over there... anyway, the last theme for July was, as you can see from the title, "Welcome to the Jungle". Once again, I chose a simple design and even incorporated some glitter and stamped some leaves on top.
The gradient is a blue-green combo and the stamping was done with dark green, after I applied a thin coat of sheer glitter.
I tried to get the hang of this "stamping thing" multiple times, but I was never really fond of the idea so I didn't quite give it my best. I'll always prefer free-hand painting.
What do you think about my nails? Should I attempt stamping more often?

Creative Nails Collab - Magical
Hello again, nail art lovers!
Day dreaming about magic has been a huge part of my life for many years, ever since I read the Harry Potter series. For this theme I tried to get out of my comfort zone (whenever I think about magic, my brain defaults to Harry Potter related things) and do something minimal that's still magical. ^_^
Here's the result:

I think the linear holographic purple nail polish looks lovely next to the glittery textured blue polish, as they complement each-other really well. I painted some small symbols, stars and half-moons, just to complete the look.
Does this manicure look as magical to you as it does to me?

Hi nail art lovers,
What's your favorite summer fruit? In my case it's a tie between apricots and watermelon but this time I'm going to show you a manicure inspired by the latter.

I don't usually paint this type of gradients as I prefer vertical ones, however, this time I felt it was appropriate. And I kinda like the design, as well! :D
I used glitter for the seeds and they fell off really quick so I don't recommend it unless you have a really good top coat you can stick the bits of glitter onto.
I wore this manicure for about a week and I feel that it turned out nice.
What do you think?

Long time no read :) I decided to take a little break from the blog, but I'm back with new nail art ideas!
This week I'd like to show you one of my favorite quotes, which is also a verse from one of my favorite songs - California Dreaming by Hollywood Undead.
I've recently had the pleasure of seeing the band sing live and actually met the members - one of the best days of my life! Here's the song, in case you were wondering what I love to listen to:

Creative Nails Collab - Inspired by an emotion
Hello nail art lovers,
Long time, no read ^_^ This week's theme is "inspired by an emotion" and I, usually being driven by feelings rather than by thoughts have had a hard time picking just one emotion to represent on my nails.
I picked the one emotion that has the biggest impact on me (I might be influenced by my diet as well, haha) - hunger. When I feel hungry I picture food.. lovely, yummy food, floating around in a cotton-candy galaxy, happy, free... and not on my plate (sadly).
Here is my depiction of hunger, a funny, colorful one, that is:

How does today's theme sound? Simple and.. a bit boring, maybe? Well, that's how I felt about it, too. I've done plenty of dotticures and loads of striped manicures, however I rarely combined them - even then, it was just a mix-match.
But now... I believe I took it to a whole new level... for myself!

Spring has finally reached us, however it's as hot as mild summer... I was hoping for more "lukewarm" days so I could just lay around in the shade with a good book, however the weather did not allow me to indulge in my dream.
My nails should reflect my mood better though, so here is a rainbow of emotions presented as dots on the tiny white canvases:
